My Cup is Overflowed
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Fred Wittig Family. Fred you have had a special place in the hearts of many, including mine. I enjoyed our visits at the Elevator, and was so grateful when you and Gail would come out and listen to me sing. Imagine how honored I was when Owen asked me, on behalf of the family, to sing for you one more time. I remember many times you'd come out for a coffee and do a bit of buisness. Oh you always made it seem like it was a 'business visit' and that you needed some advice, yet we both know that after the visit, it was I that received the advice from you. You will be forever a fond memory, and I am proud to have been able to call you Friend. My cup is overflowed - a poem you asked me to make into a song - will be cherished for years and performances to come!
