Obituary for Allen Roger Crocker

Allen Crocker of Brooks, beloved husband of the late Myrtle Crocker, was called home to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 89. Allen was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan on August 11, 1925 the fifth child born to William and Lillian Crocker, and grew up in the Kindersley area. He met the love of his life, Myrtle Hagen, in the Peace River Country when he went up to visit his sister and brother-in-law who were pastors in Grande Prairie. Myrtle was the most beautiful woman he had seen, even though she was so sick at the time of meeting her. They were married on June 25, 1952 and celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary in 2012. Allen was predeceased by his beautiful wife on May 13, 2013; his parents, Will, Lillian and stepmother, Hazel; sisters, Iva, Josephine, Dorothy; brother, Ken; and their spouses; his parents-in-law, Roy and Annie; and sister-in-law, Rose. Allen leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sharon (Mike) MacDonald of Brooks, Colleen (Trevor) Roper of Sherwood Park, Roger (Karen) Crocker of Red Deer, Darryl (Nancy) of Vegreville, and Jacqueline (Bill) Clements of Calgary; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; his brother, Milford (Ruby) Crocker of Puyallup, WA; brothers-in-law, Clarence Hagen of Revelstoke, BC, Floyd (Laura) Hagen of Grande Prairie, and Gordon (Sharon) Hagen of Spirit River; sisters-in-law, Maxine (Tom) Kruchten of Fairview, and Ila Hagen of Webster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
